Fitness programs run weekly throughout the school. Each lesson is tailored to suite the needs of the group participating in the fitness lesson. Presenters focus on gross motor and fine motor skills which are based on the IEDP needs of the learners.

Junior classes begin with basic skills, such as throwing, catching, hopping, running, matching and crawling. Once the learners have mastered these basic skills, they will be exposed to more challenging activities, for example developing the ability to play modified ball games. Learners are encouraged to exercise for their own personal well-being. The importance of a healthy, active lifestyle after Vera School is promoted with older learners.
