Intensive Course
An intensive two week ‘hands on’ course (70 hours) for professionals working with learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

The Vera Course has been piloted for three years and addresses the needs of educators who work with or who plan to work with learners on the Autism Spectrum (ASD).
Course Outline:
A Certificate of attendance will be given to successful participants. This Course has been ratified by the Outreach, Education and Training Committee of Autism South Africa (ASA).
Critical Outcomes:
At the end of each module the participants will demonstrate through reports, questionnaires, making of resources or presentations that they have a deeper understanding of ASD, that they have enhanced their knowledge of educational approaches and have developed skills to apply this knowledge in their own environment.
