Students, Volunteers, Visitors

Senior education, speech and occupational students spend a substantial part of their practical training at our school. The training is supervised mutually by our staff and university lecturers. A basic principle is that the time spent at the school must be substantial so that it does not only serve as an orientation but creates opportunities for hands on involvement and complimenting service delivery.

The school is registered with the South African Health Professions Council to offer a six months internship to educational psychology interns. Applicants are interviewed before acceptance. They work under direct supervision of our on site psychologist.

Sometimes international students apply for internships and practical training at the school. Each application is considered on merit. Complete CV's, including at least three recent references, have to be forwarded to the school before processing of any application can begin. On request, accommadation at the school can be negotiated.
